ABOUT Ultrasonic CLEANING

Ultrasonic cleaning is based on the cavitation effect caused by high frequency Ultrasonic wave vibration signal in the fluid. Microscopic bubbles are formed, and they implode violently causing the cavitation which create an intense scrubbing action on the surface of the item being cleaned. The bubbles are small enough to penetrate microscopic crevices, cleaning them thoroughly and consistently. Ultrasonic cleaning is extremely effective at removing dirt and grime which would normally require tedious manual cleaning by hand. 2. Do I have to fill my tank to the "MAX" line?

YES! Your Ultrasonic cleaner's manufacturer designed the unit to work best when filled to that “ MAX” line. If under filled, the characteristics of the environment change, which could result in improper Ultrasonic transmission, which in turn could result in poor cleaning performance or damage to the unit. Units with a heater are especially at risk of damage due to underfilling.Drying running will damage heating elements and tank.

3. How Long Should an Ultrasonic Cleaning Cycle Be?

There is no set amount of time or “typical” cleaning cycle. How dirt the part is, the temperature of the tank, how clean the part is to be, and the condition of the Ultrasonic cleaning solution all contribute to the length of the cleaning cycle.

Generally, for 2-27L machine suggest the machine not continuously running for 30 minutes, please stop at least 20 minutes before a new running cycle.If you need long time continuously running, industrial series Ultrasonic cleaner can be approved.

4. How to test your Ultrasonic cleaners with best cleaning effect?

Foil test:Take three tiny pieces of 4” x 8” of an aluminum foil. Fold each of the foils over a rod then suspend the foil pieces into the tank, with one piece in the center of the tank, and each of the other two at opposite ends of the tank. Be sure the tank is filled to the max line. Turn on the Ultrasonic cleaning system for 10 minutes.Inspect after removing the foil,all three pieces should be perforated and furrowed.

Glass slide test: Wet a frosted piece of glass with tap water, and draw an “X” on the frosted side of the glass, corner to corner with a number two pencil. Make sure the tank is filled to the correct level with fresh Ultrasonic cleaning solution. Immerse the glass into the tank and activate the system. The “X” should begin to be removed immediately, and should be gone completely from the glass within 10 seconds.

5. Which cleaning solution should I use?

A number of detergents, wetting agents and other such components are used in the making of a modern Ultrasonic cleaning solution. And there is a variety of formulations available from which you can take your pick depending on the application. Selecting a proper solution is very important for a satisfactory cleaning job and to stop unwanted reactivity with the part being cleaned.

6. When should the Ultrasonic solutions be changed?

Solution should be changed when the solution is very dirty or depleted or when you notice a decrease in cleaning action.However, you must remember that every cleaning session does not require a new batch of solution.
